is the Lions Club?
Lions Clubs International is the
world’s largest
service club organization with 1.3 million members
in 45,000 clubs in 200 countries and geographic
areas. Lions are men and women who volunteer their time
to humanitarian causes. Founded in 1917, the
association’s motto is “We Serve.”
Lions are known
for their service to persons who are blind and visually impaired.
Members participate
in a vast variety of projects and strive to make a difference
in their local community and in communities
worldwide.

All of the entries from Barker were on display at the Barker Library for two weeks in November, 2011.
The contest is for 11-13 year olds anywhere in the world. We had a lot of very creative entries this year!
Also, each club winner was on display at the Market Street Art Center in Lockport November 7 to 22.
